A proud Charlottean, Ashley began her journey the way many great stories do - in a classroom. She attended the University of North Carolina at Charlotte and spent meaningful years as a teacher in the CMS system, where she saw firsthand the power a single story could have in a child's life.
Over thirty years in education, counseling, and executive functioning coaching, Ashley built a deep understanding of what children need to thrive - not just academically, but emotionally. That understanding became the foundation of Dynamic Learning Connection, a practice working with students through adults focused on building Executive Functioning Skills, and Dynamic Learning Press, where she authored a collection of social-emotional learning books born from real conversations with children.
Dynamic Learning Compassion is Ashley's most personal commitment yet - a nonprofit built to ensure that the children who need these books most are never the ones who go without them. She brings the vision, the books, the workshops, and thirty-plus years of lived expertise.

Alberto Mangione
Working alongside Ashley since the beginning, Alberto keeps Dynamic Learning Compassion's operations running smoothly from partner coordination and donor relations to the infrastructure that makes every book distribution and workshop possible.
As Publisher of Dynamic Learning Press, Alberto brings a background in marketing and publishing from prior ventures, giving the organization a strong operational and brand foundation in which to grow.
Alberto has been married to Ashley for almost 30 years. Together they are the proud parents of three adult children - Graziana, Alessandra, and Luca who reside in New York City and Arizona.
